한지맵 HanjiMap Privacy Policy
HanjiMap (the "app") helps you find Korean-owned businesses in the United States on a map and share reviews, photos and community posts. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it is kept, shared and deleted.
1. What we collect

The app uses no advertising identifiers and does not track you for advertising. Usage analytics are processed only on HanjiMap's own servers and are never combined with data from other apps or companies. When a campaign link opens the app, the source tags carried by the link (utm parameters) are recorded too — used only on HanjiMap's own servers.
2. Third parties that receive data
- Mapbox — map tiles; receives your device's IP address and the map area being shown.
- Google / Apple / Kakao — sign-in.
- Expo (Expo Application Services) — push notification delivery.
- Sentry — error reports, without personal identifiers.
- Cloudflare — security and caching in front of our servers.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid business subscriptions. Card details are entered only on Stripe's checkout page and never reach or persist on HanjiMap's servers.
- YouTube (Google) — the live church services list (지금 예배 중). HanjiMap's servers use YouTube API Services to read whether each church's public channel is streaming and the title of the broadcast. A service opens in the YouTube app or website, where the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. HanjiMap reads only what each church has already made public and never sends your account or activity to YouTube.
- The real-estate agent you select — the contents of a consultation request are delivered to the agent it addresses. That delivery is the feature's purpose, and it happens only after your explicit consent on each request.
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
3. Retention and deletion
Account information and the content you create are kept while your account exists. Me → Delete account in the app immediately removes your account, favorites, reviews, photos, community posts and replies, push tokens, real-estate consultation requests, pending business claims and the documents attached to any business claim. A decided claim keeps its verdict and the business registration details it was decided on; your name, phone, email and uploaded documents are removed. A business you were registered as owning keeps its listing but loses the link to you. Server backups roll off within 14 days. Raw usage events are deleted automatically 90 days after they are recorded; deleting your account also removes the link between your anonymous ID and the account, and the app generates a new anonymous ID.
4. Your rights
You can edit or delete your reviews, posts and photos and delete your account in the app. For any other access, correction or deletion request, email contact form; we respond within 30 days.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
6. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens stay on your device; the server strips location metadata from photos and excludes credentials from error reports.
7. Changes
Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; material changes are also announced in the app.
